Australian terrain makes it possible to produce great examples of multiple grape varieties. In essence, there are five distinct wine-producing states in Australia: Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania.
Western Australia
A major attraction of Western Australia are its golden beaches and cool nights. Freshness and ripeness are the key factors in these wines- think lemony sauvignon blanc blends paired with juicy oysters, yum!
South Australia
The country's wine capital, home to some of the country's oldest vines. A hot, dry climate allows grapes to ripen fully, making bold wines such as elegant pinot noir and cherry-scented muscat. New South Wales The Hunter Valley is the region of New South Wales best known for producing Australia's finest white wines. Take semillon for example, citrusy, dense fruit that ages to become all toasty and soft.
Tasmania
Tasmania, an island just off the coast of mainland Australia. Known for their lower temperatures, Riesling, Chardonnay and even the Tasmanian Devils themselves thrive. So many Australian wines to choose from and some of our favourites include
