Offer: Fifth Growth Wines + September Week 2 Releases

In today's offer, we feature 3 wineries that falls under the Fifth Growths of Bordeaux's 1855 Classification.

Château Lynch-Moussas
In Pauillac, Château Lynch Moussas was bought by Jean Castéja in 1919- who had other great Pauillac wineries to his name, including Châteaux Duhart-Milon and Pichon-Longueville Baron.

The 62 heactare vineyard is treated with the greatest care to allow the grapes to express all the richness of their terroir. The wine itself has a nose composed of roses, chocolate, blueberries and blackberries with hints of garrigue and smoke.

Château Lynch-Bages
Bages, Pauillac, is home to Château Lynch-Bages, which is still owned by the Cazes family since the '70s. A wine that sparks conversations, Lynch Bages is often approachable when young and develops an invitingly intense bouquet of complexity as it matures past a decade.

Château Grand Puy Lacoste
A winery that is consistenly producing great wines, Château Grand Puy Lacoste is managed by François-Xavier Borie. With notes of cigar mingled with plums, red and black currants, the wine has a crisp acidity and velvety tannins that contribute to its elegance.

Lynch Moussas   2019

"A rather rich, dramatic rendition of this estate, the 2019 Lynch-Moussas bursts with aromas of dark berry fruit, pencil shavings and toasty new oak. Full-bodied, ample and muscular, with a fleshy core of fruit, succulent acids and ripe, powdery tannins that assert themselves on the finish, it will reward a bit of bottle age with flamboyant drinking." - The Wine Advocate, 92-94 points.

S$ 74 nett/bottle (750ml)

Grand Puy Lacoste   2006

"Among the most seductive noses from Pauillac. Strong, cassis-stained palate with a lovely sense of upwards motion and smooth, silky tannins that are starting to ease into the structure. Another vintage that shows why GPL is such a consistent player." - Decanter, 96 points.

S$ 170 nett/bottle (750ml)

Lynch Bages   2009

"The medium to deep garnet colored 2009 Lynch Bages is boldly scented of crème de cassis, blackberry pie and baked plums with chocolate box, incense and underbrush suggestions plus a waft of bay leaves. Medium to full-bodied, taut and well sustained in the mouth, it has a firm, grainy texture and a lively backbone lifting the black fruit core to a nice long finish." - The Wine Advocate, 96 points.
