"This too is mildly reduced which does in the fruit but not the earth and spice nuances. Otherwise there is fine power and punch to the delicious, robust, and full-bodied flavors that are shaped by very raspy, indeed somewhat chewy, tannins on the noticeably wood-inflected finish. This appears to have the requisite density to eventually buffer the tannins as they resolve but at present the balance is awkward."
