"The Vaumurians are fortunate to have some excellent winemakers, but those at Domaine Lescure are the most memorable we know. All the class of old vines on a limestone hillside can be found in this wine with a very noble nose, drawing on spices and bramble. It offers superb flesh, an elegant texture and a slender, full-bodied, saline palate. Great pinot de terroir!"

Founded in 1975 by Chantal Lescure and Xavier Machard de Gramont, Domaine Chantal Lescure is a family estate which today operates a 19ha vineyard, to the north on the slopes of Dijon and to the south to Meursault. This vineyard is fully cultivated in certified organic farming since 2006.
