Viñedo Chadwick, from a polo ground to a world-class Cabernet Sauvignon.
Viñedo Chadwick is a tribute to Don Alfonso Chadwick, highlighting the Chadwick family's tradition and expertise in producing fine wines. Originally Don Alfonso's personal polo field, the vineyard is now renowned as the birthplace of world-class Cabernet Sauvignon in Chile. Located in Puente Alto D.O., Maipo Valley, Viñedo Chadwick gained international acclaim at the legendary ‘Berlin Tasting’ in January 2004, where its 2000 vintage took first place, surpassing Italy's Super Tuscans and Bordeaux's First Growth wines of that year. In 2024, Eduardo and his daughters commemorated the 20th anniversary of the Berlin Tasting with celebratory tastings worldwide.

Tasting notes:
“Deep, bright cherry red, 2022 Viñedo Chadwick is a pure and perfumed wine, with floral notes that remind of violets, black fruit as blackberries, black cherries, along with raspberries, spicy notes like white pepper, dill, nutmeg, and tobacco. A fresh and juicy palate is contained by chalky tannins and a firm and elegant structure, showing a fantastic balance between flesh and length.” Francisco Baettig, Winemaker
