Wine Clique is the appointed distributor of El Seque Winery

This project was launched by Artadi with Agapito Rico, a local producer with a vast experience working with Monastrell (Mourvedre) grapes. The terroir and eco-environment over here is vastly different from Artadi and Artazu. The focus here is totally Mediterranean. It is an estate with 40 hectares of vineyards - Las Vacas, El Paredon, Los Pinos and Cotona - planted with 80% of Monastrell and 20% Syrah. Las Vascas' vines are planted way back in the 1960s.

Today, El Seque is one of the best Monastrell wines made in Spain: powerful and fully ripened, reflecting the climate conditions in the area, but offering a balsamic tone that brings freshness. And it is no wonder that it is gaining the attention of several international critics.
