Michel Tardieu's journey to becoming one of the most renowned names in the Rhone Valley was not predetermined. His passion for wine, terroirs, and people is what led him to where he is today.

As a state employee, Michel spent his free time exploring vineyards in the Rhone Valley and beyond. His passion eventually drove him to establish Tardieu-Laurent in Lourmarin, at the heart of his native Provence, in 1996.

Since then, Michel has devoted himself to selecting the finest parcels and grapes, mastering them through rigorous yet respectful aging techniques with precision and finesse, all to satisfy the palates of wine enthusiasts.

Michel's joy in life was sharing great wine with his children at Sunday lunch, and he was thrilled when they joined him in the business 20 years later. Together, they continue to select, blend, age, and produce exceptional wines that are dedicated to those who love the Rhone Valley.
