Since 1901, Château Léoville Las Cases, 2nd Grand Cru Classé in Saint-julien, has been one of the Delon family's gems. Its terroir is primarily located in the Clos de Léoville Las Cases, which you pass through when leaving the village of Saint-Julien towards Pauillac, part of which is located right next to Château Latour. The Grand Vin of Léoville du Marquis de Las Cases possesses completely unique characteristics. The wines age beautifully and can last for decades with a great level of intensity. The 2024 vintage
The 2024 vintage highlights the vine’s resilience in the face of a demanding season. A wet winter and rainy spring with mildew pressure were followed by a drier summer that allowed for good ripening. Precise harvesting and rigorous sorting revealed vibrant, fleshy Merlots and deep, elegant Cabernets. 2024 was a vintage that was shaped with care and precision, revealing a full, noble expression of Saint-Julien.
