Château Palmer, a style and a passion
The story of Château Palmer is told through the passion that drives its owners, one by one. First, Major General Palmer, then the Pereire brothers, and now the Mähler-Besse and Sichel families. Château Palmer is also about a style, about values and commitments. The place is living history and inspires respect for its lands and its wines. Thus, for the past fifteen years, harmony with nature has been the guiding principle in all practices: biodynamics, eco-grazing, polyculture, cover crops... This vision and virtuous approach give Château Palmer wines a distinct style that time magnifies.
The 2024 vintage :
While 2024 provided little respite, the meticulous assemblage process and our winemaking experience have elevated this vintage to its quintessence.
The 2024 vintage, marked by extreme weather conditions (rainfall twice the ten-year average and early mildew pressure), demanded constant vigilance. Despite these challenges, two dry summer months helped preserve grape quality. Thanks to meticulous winemaking and precise blending, this vintage has achieved remarkable harmony.
Château Palmer reveals an ample, velvety texture that envelopes the palate, comfortably offering a sense of balance – its own form of harmony.
