Domaine de Chevalier, drive for perfection
The origins of Domaine de Chevalier date back to 1783. Located in Léognan, the capital of the Graves region, the estate was acquired in 1983 by the Bernard family—France’s leading producer of spirits and a major Bordeaux wine merchant. Since then, it has been managed by Olivier Bernard and his dedicated team. Under his leadership, the estate has upheld a tradition of balance and the pursuit of perfection that has defined this exceptional Grand Cru for over 140 years. Domaine de Chevalier white is recognized as one of the greatest dry white wines of Bordeaux.
The white vineyard covers 7 hectares and is in conversion to Organic Farming.
The 2024 vintage
The growing season began with a mild winter and a wet spring without any frost, encouraging vigorous vine growth. While mildew pressure was present, it was effectively managed by vigilant growers. Flowering took place under ideal conditions, followed by a hot, dry summer that promoted excellent ripening. The white lots, vinified separately in barrels, are of very high quality. Intensely aromatic, fruity, fleshy, complex and well-balanced, they show remarkable freshness. The beautiful acidity brings great tension and vibrancy to the wines. An outstanding blend.

Tasting notes:
Nose of great class, bursting with floral aromas, white fruits, and citrus. Fragrances of spring wildflowers such as hawthorn and honeysuckle enrich the bouquet. The palaste is rich, full-bodied, smooth, and well-structured, with both intense and caressing acidity. Finesse, purity, harmony, balance, and remarkable length. Freshness is omnipresent.
A great Domaine de Chevalier Blanc.
